Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Review: Why Gamers Love It

This mouse is a Logitech G502 Light speed. It is ambitious. It takes that experience entirely wireless in addition to aiming to live up to the G502 series reputation and the expectations of its most devoted fans.

The G502 Lightspeed faces a formidable challenge from gamers who have long clung to their corded mice. Thankfully for Logitech the G502 Lightspeed eliminates all worries with an amazing feature set, powerful performance, and long battery life except for a few minor problems. In other words, if you are prepared to shell out cash for all of its features the G502 Lightspeed is a good wireless gaming mouse.

Serious gamers have long shunned wireless mice but in recent years the market has expanded significantly as manufacturers like Logitech Razer Viper V3 Pro and Corsair have improved the wireless technology and sensors that enable them. Due in large part to the appropriately named Lightspeed wireless technology which facilitates communication between your PC and the mouse via the 2. 4GHz band the G502 Lightspeed is no exception.

For the workplace, the Logitech G502 LIGHTSPEED Wireless mouse is an excellent choice. In addition to having many programmable inputs and a solid build quality, it is most significantly comfortable to use for extended periods of time. Its rounded shape and thumb rest make it ideal for palm grip but smaller hands might find it difficult to reach all the buttons. Unlocking the wheel allows for infinite scrolling which is useful when reading lengthy documents.

Many people adore the wired G502 design and the G502 Lightspeed is a strong continuation of that legacy. Though your opinion will vary its thumb rest and assortment of buttons make it somewhat bulky. While it’s not the lightest mouse available it’s also not the heaviest. Some users may be dissatisfied with the scroll wheel. I mention some because in comparison to the Corsair Dark Core wireless mouse I had on hand the scroll wheel feels fantastic and is of much higher quality. The metallic quality of the non-gaming MX Master 2S however is a noticeable downgrade even though both can switch between a free scroll and a satisfying clicky feel with a button tap. .
